Is there any nudity in it?

This is from "Extras", the post-"Office" show by Ricky Gervais. There is so much potential in Patrick Stewart's screenplay...

Whatzupwitu?

So Eddie Murphy hangs up his myriad of fat/old/woman/Jew disguises and sings in a musical ... and he's heading towards winning an Oscar for it. Well, before they snub Alan Arkin and give the award to Murphy, I think all Academy voters should be forced to watch this old chestnut from back in the day when Eddie was trying to be a pop star. It might help them put Dreamgirls into better perspective. I mean, what in the hell is going on in this thoroughly disturbing video? Eddie looks like he just stumbled out of the Blue Oyster Bar, and I'm not even going to speculate about why there are so many schoolboys in this thing...

I knew I recognized that sex offender!

I really liked "Little Children", and was pleasantly surprised to see that Jackie Earle Haley was nominated today for best supporting actor for the role of Ronnie. Although he looked familiar to me while watching the movie, I only today understood why...

It actually doesn't seem that far-fetched that Kelly from "Bad News Bears", or even Moocher from "Breaking Away", could have grown up to be Ronnie.

You're gonna love me!

It is definitely funny, but also pretty impressive in what Jake Gyllenhaal is able to belt out. The cowboy who can barely keep his hat on at the end of the song is amazing, too. Watch this before NBC's lawyers inevitably yank this off Youtube, so that viral videos can spread the way they were intended...only on NBC's web site.
